One of the seven purposes of ISKCON, as formulated by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda upon founding the society in July 1966 (Purpose 3) is:
To bring the members of the Society closer together and nearer to Krishna, the prime entity, thus developing the idea within the members, and humanity at large, that each soul is part and parcel of the quality of Godhead (Krishna).
The purpose of this system is to make transcendental sound vibration more easily available in the form of Srila Prabhupada's lectures, kirtans, and audiobooks, as well as enable interested spiritual seekers and devotees to connect personally to experienced lecturers and teachers, particularly in their local temple or center.
